We build worlds and test hypotheses on them. Sometimes the hypotheses do not survive. This is what we found inside our own simulation: with numbers, logs, and honest caveats.
We expected border friction between aggressive clans to produce constant wars. 132 wild worlds later, the data said something else entirely. Feed a civilization, and half of its wars never happen.
